PicTidy Privacy Policy

Information we handle

Photos and videos: with your permission, PicTidy reads media and necessary metadata from your system photo library to browse, group, compare similar photos, convert, compress, and organize them. Core organizing does not upload photo or video content to our servers.

Device and app information: the app and its service providers may handle device identifiers, device model, operating system and app version, language/region, crash, and performance information to keep the service reliable, recognize purchase entitlements, and diagnose issues.

Purchase information: purchases are processed by Apple App Store. We use StoreKit to obtain membership-entitlement status and do not process your full payment-card information.

Permissions

Photo-library read and write access is used to browse and organize media, save converted items, and make system-library changes only after your confirmation. Camera and microphone access is used only when you choose to capture or record. You can change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Advertising, analytics, and diagnostics

In mainland China, PicTidy may use Pangle advertising configured for non-personalized ads with IDFA disabled. In other regions, PicTidy may use Google Mobile Ads. Google ads are requested only after Google UMP updates the consent state for the current session.

We also use Umeng and Bugly/UMAPM for basic analytics, crash reporting, and performance diagnostics. Those providers may process device and diagnostic information under their own privacy policies.

How we use information

We use this information to provide photo-organizing features, process or restore purchase entitlements, display or measure ads, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve reliability. PicTidy does not automatically delete content from your system photo library.

Retention, sharing, and security

Photo and video content remains on your device and in the iCloud Photos library you choose to use. Retention of diagnostic, advertising, or purchase-related information depends on business needs and the applicable provider rules. Other than Apple and the advertising, analytics, and diagnostic providers needed for these purposes, we do not sell your personal information.

Apple and advertising providers independently process information under their own policies. Please review their privacy policies as well.

Your choices and rights

You can deny non-essential permissions, manage available advertising privacy options, manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account, and remove the app or local data from your device. To request access, deletion, correction, or another right available under applicable law, contact us below.
